Texas Green Dreams Annual Shrub Program
Texas Green Dreams offers a Shrub and Groundcover Program to which provides timely
fertilizations and controls for diseases and insect activity. My program will provide the
necessary treatments to maintain a healthy, lush landscape. Our seven annual applications
are scheduled automatically for your convenience. The price per application starts at $33

Winter Dormant Oil - I’ll apply Dormant Oil and fungicide to your
landscape. Dormant Oil is a clear, non-toxic liquid that will smother hibernating insects
and mites. Fungicide will help control any cool season disease activity.
Early Spring Application - I’ll apply a slow release fertilizer with
nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium. This balance will provide nutrients for good spring
growth. We’ll also apply disease and insect controls as necessary.
Spring Application - Disease and insect controls will be applied. This is
the time of year to be on the lookout for aphid and powdery mildew activity.
Early Summer Application - Disease and insect controls are applied for
continued residual protection against invading summer problems such as lacebugs and
aphids.
Summer Application - Disease and insect controls are again applied for
continued residual systemic protection.
Fall Application - Another close inspection of individual shrubs.
Controls for damaging insects and diseases are applied.
Winterizer Application - Granular slow release fertilizer is applied to
your landscape. This will supply the nutrients to strengthen your landscape for the
upcoming cold months and for a healthy and hearty root system.
Texas Green Dreams Annual Lawn Program
Texas Green Dreams has a custom Lawn Program to give you healthier, thicker turf. I use
both liquid and granular products to fight weeds, turf damaging insects and diseases.
I’ll also provide a rich diet of nutrients to green up, thicken and help your lawn
look it’s best!
Winter Weed Control – I’ll apply a pre- and post-emergent weed
control to help get rid of winter annuals. Not only will it get rid of the weeds you have,
but will also act as a barrier to prevent others from germinating. Along with the weed
control is a high potassium fertilizer. This will strengthen your lawn and encourage
lushness in the months ahead. We will also treat any persisting disease activity.
Early Spring Application - A balanced granular fertilizer with a higher
rate of nitrogen is applied to promote green leaves and furthering good root development.
I’ll take care of any persisting winter annuals. Disease control if needed.
Spring Application - A balanced Spring blend granular fertilizer high in
nitrogen to promote great color and lushness in these warming months. Weed and disease
control will be applied as needed.
Early Summer Application - A summer mix including iron will be applied to
keep up good color and not promote excessive top growth. We’ll be on guard for any
chinch bug activity and will treat it accordingly. Disease control will be applied as
needed.
Summer Application - Summer fertilizer with iron is applied along with
insecticide for chinch bug and any other hot weather insect infestations. Disease control
will be applied as needed.
Fall Application - Fall fertilizer is applied to keep up a nice
appearance in the coming cooler months to come. Insect controls will be applied for any
late season turf damaging problems. Brown Patch will be spot treated where it is active.

Patch Reduction Program.
Winterizer Application - Winter fertilizer with a higher rate of
potassium to prepare your lawn for the cold months ahead. Potassium will give your lawn
the strength to protect itself through upcoming freezes. Brown Patch will be spot treated.
Weed control can be applied in these cooler months.
Texas Green Dreams Fire Ant Program
Texas Green Dreams will solve your Fire Ant problems with just one call. I’ll apply a
granular insecticide to your lawn and provide you and your family with long lasting
protection from that annual Fire Ant invasion. You will get a ONE YEAR guarantee with a
promise that if Fire Ants should return, so will I! The cost for this annual treatment is
the 3 times the price of your regular lawn applications.
I also offer a monthly Fire Ant service that uses less pesticides to give you control of
these pesky invaders. I will also return at no charge to get rid of any new mounds that
may show up between visits, too. No Problem! The charge for this valuable monthly service
is the same as your regular lawn applications.
Texas Green Dreams Brown Patch Reduction Program
Brown Patch will pop up as a circle with a ring of yellow/orange grass around the edges.
Blades in these areas will easily pull from the runners and the center will turn brown as
the damaged area expands. This fungus will also appear in the same areas every year. The
fungal spores will become active as temperatures drop and there is excessive irrigation or
rainfall. Damage and scars usually remain until growth resumes in spring.
It is pretty near impossible to find new sod that is not already infected with Brown
Patch. This soil-borne fungus is normally not treated on sod farms due to the cost. And
since the damage is only aesthetic, they are not too concerned with any control. This is
why you see newer homes and newly sodded St. Augustine lawns having a big problem with
this disease.
Texas Green Dreams offers a Brown Patch Reduction Program for those that have an annual
problem with this tough, persistent disease. This program consists of three monthly
applications used for this disease is very effective, but unfortunately very expensive. It
is the cure for Brown Patch troubles though! The cost per monthly application is 1 ½
times the price of your regular lawn treatments and is still a good value.
Texas Green Dreams Mosquito Reduction Program
Have you ever had a birthday party, family reunion or a backyard barbecue where the
mosquitoes were so bad they chased you and your guests back in the house? We all have! But
